Pachmarhi is well connected by rail, road and air.

Air : Nearest airport is at Bhopal (195 km) connected by regular flights with Delhi, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Indore and Mumbai.

Rail : Pipariya (47 km), on the Mumbai-Howrah mainline via Allahabad, is the most convenient railhead.

Road : Pachmarhi is connected by regular bus services with Bhopal, Hoshangabad and Pipariya in Madhya Pradesh and Nagpur and Chhindwara in Maharashtra. Taxis are available from Bhopal and Pipariya.

Climate
Pachmarhi is surrounded by hills, so the weather is very pleasant, throughout the year. At the height of summer, the air remains pleasantly fresh and cool. It is very cold in winters. Thus, the best time to visit Panchmarhi is between October and March, when the cool, Clear Mountain air makes a refreshing change from the heat and dust at lower elevations.
