Khajuraho Festival of Dances
This festival is the most prestigious one and a status symbol of the Department of Culture, Govt. of Madhya Pradesh. The Khajuraho Festival of Dances draws the best classical dancers in the country every year, which perform against the spectacular backdrop of the floodlit temples every year in February/March. This seven-day extravaganza is a unique treat for connoisseurs from all over the world. The finest exponents of different classical Indian styles like Kathak, Bharatnatyam, Kuchipudi, Odissi, Manipuri, are represented. Thus, this festival has assumed international status and fame.

Lokranjan
The Adivasi Lok Kala Academy between 8-12 Dec. organizes the Lokranjan festival in Khajuraho for the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation. It represents the folk and tribal dances in ancient India. This is an effort to conduct various forms of dances at one platform. It is a symbol of cultural awareness.
