Talcher

The erstwhile capital of the ex-state of Talcher it is one of the fast growing industrial areas of Orissa. The establishment of Talcher Thermal Power Station, the largest coal-based Fertiliser plant, Heavy Water Plant and the Talcher Collieries have greatly enhanced the importance of the place.
