Raja Dinkar Kelkar Museum
Open 8.30 am - 5.30 pm
The exhibits here are the personal collection of Shri Dinkar Gangadhar. It holds a one-man collection of around 17000 Indian artifacts collected over 70 years. Thirty-six sections of this museum are used to display antiques, Peshwa and other miniatures, carved palace doors, pottery, a collection of lamps and musical instruments of the Mughal and Maratha periods.

Babasaheb Ambedkar Museum
Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar is a name in the Indian Freedom struggle which cannot be overseen by anyone. He was the one who wrote the Indian Constitution. As soon as you enter the Museum one gets to know many things about this man right from his birth till his death. As you enter from the door to your left there is a chair, on which Dr. Ambedkar wrote the constitution for a country with various religions, castes, creeds etc. The two chairs, on which Dr. Ambedkar used to rest could be seen. In the same way his footwear, the clothes and a fur cap remind about the 4th conference on Buddhism held in Nepal (14 Nov 1953). His travel accessories and gardening scissors, the dining table and chairs on which Ambedkar's family had their food, their utensils which give an idea of his family life, reminding the precious time of his life is a wall clock, his two suitcases which he took while traveling outside India and the Violin which Babasaheb used to learn could also be seen. The bed on which Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar breath his last and the portrayal of his lying on that bed can be seen. There is a silver ink bottle on which the Queens picture can be seen, which was presented to him by the then Governor General of India Lord Mount Batten . In the same way a letter in his own hand writing, night lamp, a paper weight on which the name of Babasaheb Ambedkar has been carved, on the small cupboard the silver frame of this specs are kept in the museum. After the museum finishes we see a statue of his which is made up of marble. When you climb up the stairs you can see the lines written on the Bharat Ratna award which he received from President K. R. Venkatraman. It is worth spending time in this museum.

Mahatma Phule Museum
In the Mahatma Phule Museum you can see various industrial products, agricultural and handicraft articles. It was started in 1890 by the name of ' Lord Ray Museum' . It is situated on Ghole Road, Shivaji nagar in Pune. The peculiarity of this museum is that there samples of the body structures of all animals from elephants to seal fishes. If you are wishing to see this museum you can go here by hiring a auto rickshaw.

Tilak Museum
This Museum is in 'Kesari' Press in Narayan Peth. It is only few kms away from Pune station. Any auto will take you to this place. All things used by Lokmanya Tilak are kept here. The copy of famous granth 'Gita Rahasya' wrote by Tilak in 'Mandale' is the main attraction of this museum

National War Museum
The idea of the National War Memorial was first put forth in 1996. The citizens of Pune, under the sponsorship of the Express Citizens' Forum, set up the War Memorial fund. The comittee asked the citizens of the city to contribute to the fund. From the ordinary common citizen to the Big corporates, all contributed whole heartedly for the museum. The Foundation was laid in November 1997 and inaugurated in October 1998.The memorial is a 25-foot stone pillar.

Museum of Arthropoda
It's a museum of Natural History. The specific focus is on the joint legged animals. This museum has most of the multi- legged varieties - lobsters, prawns, crabs, worms, beetles and cockroaches too.

Tribal Museum
This Museum falls to the East of the Railway station. This museum incorporates in itself some excellent documentation on the Maharastra's tribal communities. It mostly documents the cultures of the communities from the Sahyadri and Gondhavana regions. The museum is open for all in the week days from 10 am to 5 pm.

Kesari Wada
The home of the Kesari newspaper started by Late Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak. The first Indian National flag unfurled by Madam Cama, and many other documents are well preserved here.

Sarasbaug
One km from Swargate. Surrounded by pretty green lawns on all sides. There is a Ganesh temple on a small hillock. It used to be surrounded by a lake, which later made a way for the park. Many people come with kids and relax on the lawns in the evening. This place is also known as "Talyacha Ganpati".

Empress Garden
This Garden is next to Pune Solapur Road, This is a very big garden in 24 hectors. Here there are many types of trees having fruits and flowers. People enjoy coming here for picnic.

Peshwa Udyan
Apart from being a zoo it has facilities for a few animal rides & boating. The government (Pune Municipal Corporation) undertakes it. There is a mini train called " PHOOLRANI" to entertain small kids as well as their parents.

Bund Garden
Just five minutes Drive from Pune Station say about 2 km only. As the name suggests it is a mini dam built across Mula-Mutha river. There is arrangement for boating. A small garden next to it completes the picture. Jogging Track is just next to the Garden. This Garden is also known as " Mahatma Gandhi Udyan ". Magicians, Horse Rides to Entertain kids.

This Garden is in Koregaon Park just behind the Rajnish Ashram.

Snake Park
Latest addition being a zoo to this part, as the name suggest has a collection of snakes, reptiles, birds & turtles . It was Set up in the year 1986 by Mr. Neelam Kumar Khaire. It was later incorporated in the Rajeev Gandhi Udyan in 1999. You can see more than 160 species of snakes. This Place is 8 kms. from Pune. It is near to the Katraj Bus Depot. Six seater auto rick is available from swargate. The snake park came into being in the year 1986, with the help of Pune Municipal Corporation. It is situated on the Pune-Satara Highway near Bharati Vidyapeeth Campus. The straight road emanating from Swargate reaches you to the desired destination. The prize collection is of course the six-year-old, nine feet long King Cobra.

Katraj Garden
This Place is next to snake park 8 kms from Pune , On Pune Satara road, near the Katraj Bus Depot. There is a small lake on one side where people can pedal boats. The cool breeze, the peacefulness and the adjoining play park make the place ideal for a day trip.

This beautiful Garden is Just 1 Km from Deccan Gymkhana just Next to " Bal Gandharv Rang Mandir " on Jangali Maharaj Road . Main Attraction is Fish Aquarium & a small fort specially for small kids .Fountains ,which adds beauty to the garden.
