By Air
Raipur, the capital of Chattisgarh. Raipur is the most convenient
place from where one can explore Chattisgarh is the only place in
the state that is linked by air to New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and
Nagpur by regular Indian Airlines flights. Indian Airline connects
the city with Delhi and Nagpur by regular flights.
By Rail
Almost all the state is connected with good railway network internally
as well as externally. Raipur and Bilaspur are the major railway
stations connected to every part of the country.
By Road
National Highways 6, 43, and 16 connect all the major cities of
the state to other parts in the country like Bhubaneswar, Calcutta,
and many places in the western India. There is a good internal road
network in the state connecting all the major parts with the state
capital.
Raipur is connected by motorable roads with Bhilai (25 Km.), Bhopal
(712 Km.), Bilaspur (115 Km.), Durg (41 Km.), Jabalpur (369 Km.),
Jagadalpur (297 Km.).
By Buses
Interstate State Roadways buses ply between different cities while
chartered bus operators run services on the major routes.
