Most of Bhavnagar's restaurants adjoin the main
hotels, and offer local, national and international cuisine; the
most up market is the Nilambagh Palace Hotel. There are a number
of fast food and snack joints on Waghawadi Road near Madhav Darshan.
At night, foodstalls lining the streets of Godha Circle of Crescent
Circle do brisk business in freshly made dosas and idlis.
Salty nibbles called ganthias and fanans, and sweets like the famous
Bhavnagar pedas, can be bought at Dason the approach road from Ahmedabad
and at Khattri on Waghawadi Road.

Excellent range of juices is available at this corner stall.
- Mirch Masala Jubilee Hotel, opposite Pil Gardens.
Decent pure vegetarian place for Indian and Chinese food.
Meals 11 am-3pm & 7-1 lpm, sandwiches round the clock.
- Tulsi Kalanala Chowk.
Indian, Chinese and a couple of continental dishes, as well as
soup and salad are available. It is a calm, quiet and dimly lit
place, providing respite from the noise outside.
